Activists from Oregon and Florida will explain their work and activism around trying to pass the NPV bill in their state. 

Elizabeth Donley is English Department Chair and a tenured professor at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington. She holds a BA in political science from DePaul University and an MFA and MA in writing and literature from Chapman University. In 2016, she co-founded and became co-director of National Popular Vote-Oregon, a grassroots group aimed at passing the National Popular Vote bill in Oregon. Coordinating efforts with Common Cause, League of Women Voters, the national NPV organization, and a committed group of volunteers, she helped pass the NPV bill in 2019. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her two teenage daughters.

Kathleen Crampton has spear-headed the LWVFL National Popular Vote activities for several years. That work led to her co-founding and chairing the organization, Floridians for National Popular Vote. She works tirelessly both in the state and national movement to elect the President of the United States by popular vote. Kathleen had a career as a senior executive with experience across the Health Care sector. Most recently, she worked for Centene Corporation and for United Healthcare of Florida, Inc, Community Plan. A graduate of Boston University with a BA in American History, Kathleen holds an MPH in Public Health from Harvard University, and a MBA in Finance from George Washington University. She is a Certified Financial Planner/CFP.
