Voting Basics

You are eligible to vote if you

- are a citizen of the United States,

- are at least 18 years old,

- have lived at your current residence for at least 28 days prior to the election,

- are no longer serving any portion of a felony sentence.

Register and Check

You must reregister if you have moved or legally changed your name.

1) View your ballot. Print a copy to use as a voting guide.


Choose How, When, and Where

Only vote once! It’s a felony to vote more than once.

  1. Vote from Home by absentee ballot. Don’t wait--request a ballot. OR
  2. Vote Absentee In Person for two weeks before Election Day  OR
  3. Vote on Election Day.
    1. Find your polling place.
    2. Be sure to bring an acceptable photo ID.

Important Dates

August 13, 2024 -Partisan Primary

  •  July 24 - last day to register online or by mail
  • July 30 - first day of Early Voting
  •  July 30 - recommended last day to request an Absentee Ballot
  •  August 6 - recommended last day to mail your ballot
