A Special Invitation for Citizen Input: A Workshop on La Crosse County Land Use Plan

La Crosse County Comp Plan Logo

A special Zoom meeting is scheduled for League members
and interested La Crosse County residents
to voice our opinions and help brainstorm ideas
that could be used in
programs, policies and plans for La Crosse County
in the next decade.

The La Crosse County Board is currently developing policies and drafting language that will be included in La Crosse County’s Comprehensive Plan. The policies in the comprehensive plan, once approved, will impact land development in county municipalities for years to come. The county expects to schedule public hearings on a draft of the plan as early as February.

The 12/110 workshop will be an opportunity for you to learn about the various land use alternatives the County is considering and also a forum for you to share your views on disparate options for land development. The focus is on development outside of the city limits. The county is facilitating.

Registrants will receive the link
and background information prior to the workshop.

This workshop is a collaboration between
the League of Women Voters of La Crosse County,
the La Crosse County Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee,
and UW-Extension.
