Protecting our Water from PFAS Pollution: Upcoming Opportunities for Public Participation

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking input from the public on the development of rules to regulate PFAS, the toxic chemicals found in Teflon and other products. You can exercise your rights and help protect your community by speaking at a virtual public hearing or submitting written comments.
Join us on Monday, November 29 at 6:30p.m. for a short presentation followed by a panel discussion and an open Q & A. We'll discuss the rulemaking process for PFAS water standards and provide information on how you can participate in this process. MEA staff attorneys Jorge Roman-Romero and Rob Lee will be joined by Clean Wisconsin staff, Beth Neary from Wisconsin Environmental Health Network, John Robinson from Wisconsin's Green Fire and Doug Oitzinger, former mayor of Marinette.
