Empower Voters, Defend Democracy
The League shall not support or oppose any political party or candidate.

Welcome Our 2026-2027 President
League of Women Voters of the La Crosse Area
wel
We asked Stephanie to write an introduction to herself for inclusion in the News Update. Here are her words:
"We moved here from Northern California October, 2024. League was one of the first things I joined and was immediately impressed by the Lunch and Learn I attended. Being a retired high school social science teacher, I was excited by the opportunity to promote democracy and voter education. I joined the Program Committee, Voter Services, and Observer Corps to learn more about the League's work. In addition, I helped out with Vote 411 for the 2025 election. I joined the Board in 2025. and then this year was asked to step in as President. Luckily, the League is full of amazing people who lead us in engaging voters, so they will support and guide me in continuing the excellent leadership the League has had."    Stephanie Davis
