Local Business Works to Get Out the Vote

Local Event: MOKA Coffee, 123 West Ave. North, La Crosse, WI 54601

Time: Wed., November 2nd, 10 am

MOKA coffee shops owner, Joan Wilson, is engaged with the League of Women Voters of the La Crosse Area to promote voting this fall. Headquartered in La Crosse, MOKA has more locations in Onalaska, Rochester, Madison, and North Aurora, IL.

“Espresso Yourself - Vote 2022” is her message to all prospective voters. She’s even printed tee shirts with this slogan for employees at her shops, and cards promoting www.myvote.wi.gov will be available as takeaways for customers.

Please attend the photo shoot when MOKA employees will gather wearing their Espresso Yourself shirts as League members join them. MOKA’s Get-out-the-Vote plans for election week include its highly anticipated gift card promotion, a contest for employees, and tips for making a plan to vote on Election Day – beginning with a good cup of coffee.

Joan urges everyone to make their voice heard by voting on Election Day.
